As a Professor of Corporate Governance, our founder is passionate about the development of corporate governance and its best practices in Nigeria. He believes this will immensely contribute to the sustainability of Nigerian businesses and, in extension, aid the economic development of Nigeria and Africa at large.  

Through the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria (SCGN), FA Foundation supports the provision of a template for formulation and enforcement of corporate governance standards for Nigeria and other emerging economies, using the tools of seminars, trainings, research and advocacy. The Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria has impacted over 5,000 directors in various organisations in Nigeria.

Society of Corporate Governance Nigeria offers the following: 

Workshops and Trainings: The Society runs accredited training on corporate governance  and impact investing as well as capacity-building workshops and webinars to provide practical guidance on corporate governance relevant to organisations. 

Tools and Resources: SCGN produces journals and other tools to help its members address their corporate governance needs and support their governance efforts. They also provide members with the resources to build and strengthen their roles, and navigate regulatory requirements. 

ResearchResearch programmes of the Society assist leaders of organisations in making better decisions regarding corporate governance.
