During his almost three decades as a legal practitioner, our founder has served as lead counsel for several landmark judgments and has pioneered new legal researches. His passion for the advancement of the legal practice in Nigeria led to the establishment of the Commercial Law Development Services (CLDS).
Building on extensive experience and research in legal issues, CLDS serves a platform that offers legal and business trainings to legal managers, in-house counsel, general legal practitioners in the private and public sectors. Through CLDS, groundbreaking legal research and innovative training courses that shape public discourse about new and ongoing commercial law issues are encouraged.
CLDS works in partnership with professionals from diverse business establishments to provide a platform for the acquisition of practical skills for managers, in house counsel, supervisors, and decision makers in corporate organisations.
By providing subsidised legal education to lawyers and non-lawyers and undertaking research in topical commercial legal issues, CLDS contributes to legal reforms, produce legal publications, teaching materials and commercial law reports.
